Here's Brian Myburgh of South Africa. We've known each other over the internet since Spring of 1996. He told us on the PigPals internet mail listserver that he was coming here on business and wanted to meet those of us pig owners in the area.
We arrived at the "downtown" Marriot at exactly 8:00PM. Diane Jeffers and Craig (pictured sitting on left) of Bellmawr, NJ were just pulling up as we parked..We had a drink and passed around photos of our pigs, while waiting for one other person, who never made it.
Morag O'Hanlon (left) of Toronto was already at the hotel when we got there. She loves sharing stories of her pig, Dumpy, as Mary Ann Piatkowski shows off photos of the Pigtailz Junction residents.
Morag is terribly camera shy. Every time I tried to take her picture, she'd hide her face. This time with her digital camera. It has no conventional film, but stores photos electronically that you can download directly into your computer.
Before we left, we were able to grab a group shot of the "Philly Gang" of pig owners. Left to right are Brian, Craig, Diane, Morag, Mary Ann, and Marty.
