July 5th, 1999. We filled up all the pools, mudholes and water dishes this morning, before heading out to help a lady build a pen. This lady just rescued a potbellied pig from a shelter and needed tips on how to treat it for mange, neutering and general care giving. When we got back it was 104 degrees in the shade at 4PM - all ready cooling down (yea, right), with a humidity index of around 115 degrees. Needless to say all the pools & mudholes needed to be refilled. Mary Ann's spraying water on some of the "Wuss's" that won't go in a mudhole or pool. They just hang out in the shade of the ban's overhang. |
| Hammy was the first guy to get into the main herd's mudhole. I thought that this was odd, since he ranks very low in the the herd's standings. | ![]() |

After attending to another pen, I came back to find Charlie and Hilde sharing the same mudhole. |
| Well, they shared the mudhole only for a while. Bonita, a Juliani that we adopted from Florida, told them that their time was up and had to leave. | ![]() |
